Sarah Droegemeier

Sarah is native to Tucson and has over one year of yoga teaching experience. She graduated from Root’s Yoga Teacher Training in April 2024 with the intention of teaching yoga to challenge herself and express her individuality.

Sarah started practicing yoga 18 years ago when a couple of friend’s challenged her to try a Bikram class and told her it would rock her world. She continued practicing multiple styles of yoga prior to discovering her love for Vinyasa. Her favorite class to take as well as teach is Hot 45, because it’s short, hot and loud, and it’s easy to be inspired by the creation of energy expressed by the synchronized movement of individuals.

In addition to teaching yoga, Sarah has been employed as a Registered Nurse in the operating room at a local hospital since 2007 and is grateful that she discovered nursing and the many bonds that she has formed over the years. Sarah is passionate about traveling

around the world, and immersing herself in various cultures. She loves to dance at weddings and swim during summer nights in the desert.

Sarah lives her life by Dolly Parton quotes and regularly challenges herself to learn new skills and try new activities just for fun. She believes in laughing everyday and spending as much time with family and friends enjoying a good meal.

Her dream is to live her life to its fullest potential and to appreciate every day she has on this Earth.
