Madeline Romero

Yoga found Madeline at age 14 after her mom suggested she try it as a way to improve her mental health. after playing competitive soccer for over 10 years Madeline did not think it would be something she enjoyed, but she tried it nonetheless. Immediately she fell in love with yoga and the feeling it left her with both on and off of the mat. Yoga was the only way she could quiet her mind and escape for a little while, it soon became her therapy.

She completely immersed herself in the world of yoga and all the spiritual wormholes that can come with it. Knowing it was something she wanted in her life forever she completed a 200 h ytt at Roots Hot Yoga in 2022 as a senior in high school. Although teaching wasn’t initially something she’d imagined doing, she found fulfillment and a passion to teach and guide others through the same practice she loves so deeply. In her classes she emphasizes the importance of mental health and acknowledges that yoga can be just as beneficial to the mind and soul as the physical asana can be for the body. In many ways she feels yoga has saved her life and feels extremely honored that she gets to share her passion with anyone and everyone who is open to receiving it.
