My yoga path began in 2019 as a means of healing from an injury. I quickly discovered that yoga offered more than a physical element; it was mental and spiritual. Hot yoga, in particular, resonated with me deeply.
Seeking to deepen my practice, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Roots in 2022. While teaching wasn’t my initial goal, guiding friends through practice ignited a passion for sharing yoga’s transformative power and I could not resist the call to teach.
My practice reflects my dynamic nature: I thrive on the intensity of hot power flows and find solace in the restorative qualities of Yin and Nidra. Roots’ HOT 60 class is a perfect balance, allowing for gradual progress, whether it's mastering a pose or simply listening to my body to rest.
Beyond yoga, my life revolves around my three children, family, friends, and my fur babies, and my work. I have been a dedicated educator for the past 23 years, in which I am currently serving as an elementary principal. When not at my school, I find rejuvenation through yoga, travel, gardening, hiking, and immersing myself in nature’s beauty.
Lifelong learning is my cornerstone and the practice of yoga absolutely aligns with that value.
