Cindy was born and raised in Tucson, where she lives with her two rescue cats, Chloe and Houdini, who are siblings and once lived on the mean streets of Phoenix.
Cindy began her yoga teacher journey at Sumits Hot Yoga in Tucson, where she earned her 200- hour certification. She followed this up with an additional 300-hour certification in 2023 from Wise Owl. Yoga has always been a part of her life; growing up, her mom and her friends attended silent yoga retreats while Cindy “practiced” yoga at gymnastics. She credits yoga with helping her recover from pneumonia.
Cindy loves teaching both Hot60 and Yin yoga. The dichotomy of these two styles represents how she feels about herself – high energy and then hopefully calm.
Growing up, Cindy dreamed of going to college on a gymnastics scholarship and playing first chair
violin in the symphony. She enjoys sharing her love of travel with her nieces. Through her 24 years at IBM/Kyndryl, she was able to experience exciting places such as Israel, Jordan, Aruba, Vienna, Prague, London,
NYC, Australia, Cabo San Lucas, Luxembourg, Dublin, Paris, Sao Paulo, Toyko, and many more.
When Cindy isn’t guiding you through your yoga practice, either hot or yin, you can find her cheering on the University of Arizona Wildcats.
